This study aims to validate the views of Muslim philosophers on the "occurrence and progression of the soul" and to assess the extent to which they are consistent with the verses of the Quran and narrations. The research method is analytical-descriptive and based on a library study of the works of Islamic philosophers and interpretative and narrative texts. The findings show that the perspective of the progression of the soul (such as the theory of Plato and Qutb al-Din Shirazi) as well as the perspective of spiritual occurrence (Avicenna and Suhrawardi) face intellectual challenges and narrative inconsistencies. In contrast, Mulla Sadra's theory of "physical occurrence and spiritual persistence", which is based on the principles of transcendental wisdom such as substantial movement and doubt of existence, has been able to create a better compatibility between reason and narration by explaining the gradual nature of the creation of the soul and interpreting the apparently conflicting religious texts. As a result, this theory, as a comprehensive perspective, is able to resolve apparent conflicts and present a harmonious picture of the emergence of the soul within the framework of Islamic principles.
